Updates regarding automatic exchange of information
Bern, 27.12.2017 - Subsequent to the completion of Switzerland’s parliamentary processes, the list of jurisdictions with which Switzerland has introduced automatic exchange of information on financial accounts (AEOI) has been updated. Furthermore, some clarifications have been given with regard to the concept of «participating jurisdiction» pursuant to Article 1 of the Ordinance on the international AEOI of November 23, 2016 (please refer to «Publications). These clarifications were made necessary by the update in November 2017 of the list of jurisdictions that have committed themselves towards the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes to introducing AEOI.
