New Pensions Statistics 2023 - New recipients of occupational pensions: fewer pensions and more lump-sum payments
Neuchâtel, 25.11.2024 - In 2023, the number of recipients of new pensions paid by the occupational pension plan (2nd pillar) fell compared with previous years. The number of new recipients of a lump-sum, on the other hand, continued to rise. Among recipients of new benefits from the occupational pension plan in 2023, 41% received a pension, 40% a lump sum and 19% a combination of a pension and lump-sum. These are the some of the findings from the New Pensions Statistics of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
