Description of the organisational chart
The General Secretariat is the interface between the Head of the Department and the federal offices. As a staff body, it plans and coordinates the business of the Federal Department of Finance FDF. The Digital Public Services Switzerland (DPSS) is the area responsible to ensure more effective use and accelerate progress in the digitalisation of public services.
The following federal offices belong to the FDF:
- State Secretariat for International Financial Matters SIF
- Federal Finance Administration FFA
- Federal Personnel Office FOPER
- Federal Tax Administration FTA
- Federal Office for Customs and Border Security FOCBS
- Federal Office of Information Technology Systems and Telecommunication FOITT
- Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics FOBL
The following are administratively affiliated to the FDF:
- Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA
- Swiss Federal Audit Office SFAO
- Federal Pension Fund PUBLICA
