The Federal Council welcomes the nominations for appointments to the Board of the new airline
08. nov 2001 - The Federal Council acknowledges with satisfaction that the steering committee has succeeded in nominating a series of top-class personalities for appointment to the Board of the new Swiss airline. It particularly considers the consent of the long time head of KLM, Pieter Bouw, who is nominated as Chairman of the Board as an encouraging sign for the successful launch of the new airline.
At the same time, the Federal, Council would like to extend its thanks to the founder of Crossair, Moritz Suter, for his co-operative collaboration in building the new company. The Swiss government recognises Mr Suter's great contribution to Crossair, which now enable it to serve as the sustainable basis for the new Swiss airline.
