Increase in taxes retained on behalf of EU for 2008 to CHF 738 million
Bern, 28.05.2009 - The gross revenue generated from the imposition of Switzerland's system of tax retention on interest payments in Switzerland on earnings liable to tax in the EU increased from CHF 653.2 million for 2007 to CHF 738.4 million for the tax year 2008.
