President of the Confederation Hans-Rudolf Merz to meet the Swedish Prime Minister and the Swedish Financial Markets Minister

At Sweden's invitation, the President of the Confederation Hans-Rudolf Merz will meet the Swedish Prime Minister Frederik Reinfeldt and the Swedish Financial Markets Minister Mats Odell on 23 April 2009 in Stockholm.

On the agenda is an exchange of ideas relating to Sweden assuming the presidency of the European Union on 1 July 2009 amongst other things. President Merz will outline Switzerland's EU policies to Prime Minister Reinfeldt. Other topics will include the financial crisis and international tax issues.
